Supporting Environmental Health Through Community Education
Environmental Health and Stewardship is our Promotora-led pathway dedicated to helping families understand and respond to environmental factors that affect their health and well-being.
This program equips local Promotoras with culturally responsive information and tools to understand local environmental conditions, practical ways to support clean air and safe water at home, and resources that promote healthier living environments.

Our Program Focus
Cultivando centers the strengths and lived experiences of Latino and immigrant families in Colorado. We recognize that families already hold valuable knowledge about their neighborhoods and daily environments.
Through the Promotora Model, we build on these strengths to deliver accessible, respectful education that helps caregivers and community members make informed choices for healthier homes and stronger communities. Our work supports overall family well-being by providing clear information about environmental conditions and practical steps families can take to nurture safe, thriving spaces for current and future generations.
