Our Environmental Justice Program
The crisp mountain air often associated with Colorado is a distant memory for many residents of Commerce City. The heavy blanket of pollution emanating from the nearby Suncor oil refinery has a devastating impact on the health of our community, with children and the elderly facing the brunt of these consequences.
Cultivando's Environmental Justice Program stands tall against this injustice. We are a beacon of hope, fighting for clean air, safe water, and a just transition to a sustainable future for all. We believe that a healthy environment is a fundamental right, and we will not relent until this right is secured for all members of our community.
